Max Team Renovation & Construction Services Ltd has grown almost entirely on referral. Here is how we work, and why people keep passing on the number.
Who we are
You name it, we build it
That line is on our logo because it is the actual job. People call us with a leaking roof, a kitchen they hate, or a piece of land and a rough idea. Our work is turning that into something finished.
Max Team is a Jamaican renovation and construction company working across the island, residential and commercial. We run our own crews on the core trades rather than subcontracting each stage to whoever is free, which is the single biggest reason our jobs finish when we say they will.
We are not the cheapest quote you will get, and we do not try to be. What we are is the quote that still means something at the end of the job.
How we operate
The things we refuse to do
Every contractor tells you what they will do. These are the things we will not, and they are the ones that cost people money.
We do not quote by guess
No price over the phone from a description. We come and look first, because a quote given blind is a quote that changes later, and you are the one who pays for it.
We do not disappear mid job
We take on what our crews can actually carry. If we are booked out, we will tell you a real start date instead of starting your job and leaving it to chase the next one.
We do not hide bad news
Open a wall and you sometimes find a problem nobody quoted for. You hear about it that day, with what it costs and what happens if it is left, before we touch it.
Where we work
Islandwide, and honest about it
We are based in the Corporate Area and most of our work is in Kingston and St Andrew, St Catherine and Manchester. We travel further for the right job, and if travel adds cost, it is in the quote up front, not added later.
